Pastor Leonard Newton is a product of Christian education, he is a proud graduate of Miami Union Academy. He felt the call of God to enroll at Oakwood University where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Theology. He also attended Walden University, where he earned a Master’s of Science degree in Psychology.
He has been blessed to minister in the Southeastern Conference, where he has pastored the Ebenezer SDA church in Bartow FL , the All Nations SDA church in Winter Haven, FL., the Alpha Agape and Lebanon SDA churches in Miami Florida. The Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church in Tallahassee, Florida, the Mt Olive Seventh-day Adventist Church in Quincy, Florida. Presently he pastors the Daughter of Zion Seventh-day church in Delray Florida and the United Seventh-Day Adventist church in Delray Florida.
Throughout his ministry, Pastor Newton has conducted several evangelistic crusades that have led many souls to Christ. He was able to successfully build a church for one of his congregations, he has renovated churches and paid off mortgages. He was instrumental in starting a joint Seventh Day Adventist School between Florida Conference and Southeastern Conference in Tallahassee Fl. He is married to the love of his life and best friend Shelly-Ann. They are blessed with two beautiful daughters Sanaa (13 years) Lauren (8 year) and a son "LJ" (5 years yrs old). Pastor Newton main goal in life is follow God’s will where ever it leads.
